Donald Sutherland graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto ON in 1995.
Donald came to value massage therapy during his brief career as a professional dancer, as injury management was a constant. When he left dance behind, massage therapy seemed a natural step forward.
During the early years as an RMT in Toronto, Donald worked with many professional dancers, athletes and artists. He was an onsite massage therapist with the men’s Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour for three tournaments in 1996, 1998 and 2002, at the National Tennis Centre at York University .
Further studies in Cranio-Sacral therapy, Myofascial Release therapy, TMJ dysfunction, shoulder syndrome management, among others, have led Donald to value immensely, the benefit of facilitating a client’s body’s ability to heal itself.
Some Donna Sarna clients may remember working with, or seeing, Donald at the clinic in 2008-2009, before he left Winnipeg for Barcelona, where he continued working as an RMT.
Donald returns to Donna Sarna Physiotherapy after living abroad for the last 10 years, and looks forward to working with you.
