Lindsay Clarke received her Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy from the University of Manitoba in 2009, and then spent 7 years working in private practise in Steinbach with a focus on orthopedics. Lindsay joined the Donna Sarna Team in 2016.
Lindsay’s post graduate work includes training in pelvic floor therapy, having completed levels 1, 2, and 3. She is certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute to practice acupuncture. She has completed orthopedic levels 1 and 2 (upper and lower), yoga for pain relief, shoulder physiotherapy, TMJ training, the orthopedic role of the pelvic floor, myofascial release, and craniosacral therapy. Lindsay is trained in STOTT Pilates.
At Donna Sarna, she works with men and women from school-aged children to age 90+, helping to treat muscle strains, arthritis and other painful conditions that prevent patients from being able to manage their workday, engage in social activities with friends and family, or try a new sport. She also works with post-partum women who are returning to their usual activities. One of her special interests has become working with individuals who experience pelvic floor issues. Lindsay is deeply motivated to help them overcome pain, discomfort or embarrassment, so that they can return to the activities they enjoy. She’s passionate about how pelvic floor treatment can make a difference in a client’s quality of life. A good listener, Lindsay strives to help clients achieve the goals that are most important to them.
Outside of the clinic, Lindsay enjoys being active at the gym, hiking, travelling, and spending time outdoors with her partner and their dog, Koa.
