We would like to welcome Certified Hand Therapist, Marlee Gallagher, to the Donna Sarna Physiotherapy Team.
Marlee graduated from Brandon University with her Bachelor of Science (Psychology Major) in 2010. She was accepted in the University of Manitoba Bachelor of Physiotherapy program, and obtained her degree in 2013. After graduation she worked in orthopedics and a private hand to shoulder clinic, and spent time as a community physiotherapist. Through these experiences she has gained exposure to a large variety of musculoskeletal injuries, including post-surgical hand to shoulder conditions, burns, wounds, osteoarthritis, rheumatological and neurological conditions.
In her post-graduate training she has completed her certified hand therapy designation, acupuncture certification as well as pelvic floor training. She has also completed training in manual therapy skills as well as myofascial release techniques. She enjoys promoting an active lifestyle that focuses on whole body health, and values an integrated healthcare team approach to improve overall health.
